Pauses during the walk reveal water seeping, gurgling, rippling and overlapping beyond the channelised segment of the Moonee Ponds Creek. Rainy weather in the floodplain amplifies the movement of water along concrete drains, with a rush of objects and organisms flowing and pooling. This 2 hour walk and drawing workshop, culminates in a gathering of mark making that prompts a collective reimagining of past and present ecologies and waterways.
